Daca ar trebui sa aflam cat valoreaza gimnastica artistica din Romania, singurul etalon pe care l-am putea utliza ar fi numarul de medalii. In istoria acestui sport, 111 gimnasti romani si-au lasat amprenta prin medaliile castigate, dintre care: 23 de campioni olimpici, 34 de campioni mondiali si 33 de campioni europeni.
