The gymnasts on the “Alley of Success”
Today the opening ceremony of the “Alley of Success” in the Herastrau park in Bucharest took place. At this event, organized by the Romanian Olympic Foundation, were invited all Romanian Olympic medalists from Beijing, including, of course, the WAG team.
Similar to the famous “Hollywood Walk of Fame”, the alley from the Herastrau park has cement plates with the names of our champions and the title (medals) obtained at the summer Olympics in China this year.
Sandra Izbasa, Steliana Nistor, Gabriela Dragoi, Anamaria Tamarjan, Andreea Acatrinei and Andreea Grigore are the first generation of gymnasts who left their prints on the “Alley of Success”.
