Sandra Izbasa: 3 in 1

Sandra Izbasa is currently busy preparing her routines according to the new Code of Points. She wants to achieve quite a few things in the near future: to be an all-arounder at the European Championships in Milano, to get her driving-license and to study for her baccalaureate exam.
“2009 is going to be my toughest year, but it is worthy working so hard. It is a bit tiring to combine so many things, but I will try to do all as well as I can, because I am full of energy.”, confesses Sandra.
Her program looks like this. In the morning: school and training. In the afternoon: driving lessons, studying for the baccalaureate exam, another training session, In the evening: again lessons and studying.
“It is a reasonable program. I have a very nice driving instructor and I have already started to drive alone. Of course, the traffic in Deva is not comparable with the one in Bucharest”.
Nevertheless, all these activities do not keep her from training. “I am on the good way with preparing the new elements. I am preparing the all-around for the European Championships and I am training hard for the world title, the only one I miss”.
Her first test this year is going to take place on February 20, when she will attend the competition organized by Nadia Comaneci in Oklahoma.
