Romanian Teams for the Worlds announced
According to Prosport, the Romanian teams for the Gymnastics World Championships in London this year have been announced this week. Our gymnasts for the women competition will be: two of the members of the Olympic team last year, Sandra Izbasa and Anamaria Tamarjan, together with the new comers, Diana Chelaru and Ana Porgras, as well as the alternate Gabriela Dragoi, 5th place in the beam final at the Olympics in Beijing. For the medals of the men competition will fight: Marian Dragulescu, Flavius Koczi, Marius Berbecar, Daniel Popescu, Cosmin Popescu, Robert Stanescu, together with the alternates Alin Jivan and Ovidiu Buiduso. According to Mircea Apolzan, the general secretary of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, changes in the teams will be possible considering health and progress issues.
