Injured a year ago at the Europeans and after two surgeries at the meniscus of her right knee, Cerasela Patrascu resumed training after a break of 8 months. “She has already begun working in the gym and  started working on 3 apparatus:  uneven bars, beam and vault; Cerasela begun training on vault just few days ago. She gives us hopes for the Worlds from London (13th -18th of October)”, said Nicolae Forminte, the head-coach of the WAG team.

He also said that Patrascu seems to have passed over the critical moment of the pause she had. “It is a good change and we can see a growth of motivaton. Cerasela fought with the physical rehab, but even  more with the mental one. It`s difficult to fight with your own body after you recover the affected part and then to resume training.”
