Jesolo Trophy 2009 – results
Yesterday the Jesolo Trophy competition dedicated to both juniors and seniors took place in Italy.
The seniors
Anamaria Tamarjan and Diana Chelaru were the only Romanian gymnasts who participated in the all-around, placing 5th and 9th, respectively. Sandra, Dana and Gabriela competed unofficially. Unfortunately for our gymnasts, they didn’t have very good evolutions, the obtained results indicating many hesitations and falls. Sandra appears to have competed her new FX, with only 4 diagonals and new music, but with many mistakes, leading to a very low score of 13.700.

The juniors
Amelia Racea managed to win quite easily the junior competition, obtaining even better results than the seniors. Besides a mistake at the UB (her coach touched her, thinking that she would fall), Amelia had a very good competition, she is going to be probably a strong member of the Romanian team in 2010. The other two juniors present in Italy, Raluca Haidu and Diana Trenca, finished the competition on the 9th and 12th place, respectively.
